And if sources are to be believed, Huma Qureshi has requested director Abhishek Chaubey to show their upcoming movie Dedh Ishqiya to the producer-director.
Huma who made her debut in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur apparently wants to show the movie first to Kashyap. Earlier there was a buzz about Huma and Kashyap bein romantically involved but Huma had then vehemently denied it.
Says a source, `Huma expressed a desire to make sure Anurag see the film first. Though Anurag and Abhishek are friends too, it was Huma's idea to arrange a special screening for him.`
According to the source, the two filmmakers are known to share ideas on filmmaking. `Anurag and Abhishek are good friends, so they always show their movies to each other for inputs. Anurag also shows his movies to Abhishek even at the initial stage and vice-versa.` On the topic, Abhishek replied via SMS, denying the story. `That's ridiculous. Anurag is an old friend of mine. He's shown me his films at the edit stage like I have shown him my first film as well as Dedh Ishqiya. It has nothing to do with Huma.`
Huma remained unavailable for comment.
