Bollywood flick on Aarushi murder case completed

Manish Gupta has almost completed making movie titled 'Rahasya' on Arushi murder case which will be released in March 2014, but at the same time film maker Milan Luthria has dropped the idea of making a film based on the true story of Arushi and Hemraj murder. The Bollywood seems to have been divided over idea of making films on real life tragedies with some favouring and others opposing the same.

Tisca Chopra, who plays the mother of Arushi says she is fascinated by the extreme human behaviour, and did this film because somebody else would've done it anyway. Now once the verdict has come convicting the parents of the teenage girl as culprits many filmmakers would be lining up to make a film on it.

She adds that the actor's job is to play the character without judging it, no matter how dark or gruesome or horrible the person might be to anybody, including to myself,"

To a question she says that yes there may be apprehension about doing such films because the final word is yet to come from the Supreme Court.

Many people, including the accused Dr. Nupur Talwar, felt that it'd be insensitive to make a film on this incident. "If somebody's gone and killed their child, somebody's going to make a story about it. It can't be kept under wraps. The scope of human behaviour when it gets extreme is what films are made on. That's our area of interest. They're saying don't make it, tell me, why not?" she asks. Film maker Mahesh Bhatt is of the view that before making movies the producers need to think about the human angle involved in it. A tragedy should not be made into a movie to make money.

Rakesh Roshan is of the view that it depends on how you make the movie, but he himself will never make a movie on such a story. But there are one's who maintain that truth should come out in front of the public and stories like Jessica murder case have been very well received.
