The cancellation of the shoot of the Hrithik Roshan-starrer due to
his ill-health has apparently made the producers feel the heat
The makers of the upcoming film Bang Bang starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif have apparently incurred losses worth crores due to the cancellation of the shoot.
A nine-day schedule for a song picturisation was to kick-off from November 27, but due to Hrithik's ill-health which requires him to travel to the US for treatment, the schedule has been pushed to January.
Says a source, `A massive set was under construction at Film City in Goregaon for the song picturisation. It had an European feel to it. The construction was almost complete. Such a set usually costs more than a crore. The expenditure had been incurred besides the unit hands who were booked for the shoot had to be paid their remuneration.`
A source close to the studio however states, `The insurance company takes care of the losses so the studio doesn't lose money with the constant postponement or cancellation of shoots.`
Another source informs, `The production house might not have incurred losses directly, but still the payment for the location of the set from the day it has been blocked to the last day of the shoot has to be made. So they still have to incur some loss for the cancellation of the shoot.`
