Mumbai cops visit Akki to train IPS probationers

Mumbai police is taking the help of 45-year-old Akshay Kumar who is super fit and is a six degree Black Belt holder, to motivate young IPS probationers.

Vishwas Nangre Patil, IPS, Additional Commissioner of Police, West Mumbai recently visited Akshay's unique gym along with his IPS probationers (young trainee IPS officers) where Akshay showed them
his innovative technique of building flexibility without the help of weights.

The officers, who included six ladies, were impressed. Akshay later visited Patil's regional office where he met the Quick Response commando team trained after 26/11 to fight armed men and 175 sub inspectors.

Talking to us Patil said, "Akshay was kind enough to come to our office and has expressed his desire to train my commandos in flexibility and endurance. He has promised us to chisel their martial art techniques to help us in close encounter operations. We were all impressed by his fitness and flexibility levels, that too at his age."
